Project Objective: 

Pave way for commercialization of biofuels in Australia and New Zealand

Initiative Description: 

  • The Sustainable Aviation Fuels Road Map study investigated  a possible pathway to the development and commercialisation of a sustainable aviation fuels industry in Australia and New Zealand
  • The road map brought together representatives from the Australasian aviation industry and used sophisticated economic modelling technology to map out future scenarios
  • The study culminated in May 2011 with the release of the report: Flight path to sustainable aviation
