Arun Eapen

Arun holds a BTech (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Calicut, India, an MS in Structural Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA (Hons) from the University of Chicago.

Arun began his career as an engineer with Sargent & Lundy, LLC in Chicago where he led teams of engineering consultants to execute engineering projects around the world. Arun joined the World Economic Forum in Dec 2008 as a GLF and headed the Forum’s  Engineering & Construction Industry. In addition to overseeing the doubling of the Forum’s community of Engineering & Construction firms during his tenure, Arun led the development of a report titled “Positive Infrastructure” which outlined policies required to spur infrastructure development around the world. Arun’s role at the Forum included providing strategic insights and emerging market trends to a broad community of industry and government stakeholders. 

Upon graduating from the GLF program in 2011, Arun joined SNC-Lavalin Capital where Arun has been looking at opportunities to invest equity in Infrastructure Projects. Arun is currently based in Mumbai, India and manages SNC-Lavalin Capital’s activities in India.
