Simon Mulcahy

Simon holds a BA (joint honours) from the University of Bath. He served for five years as a British Army Officer and then worked as a technology and management consultant.

Simon joined the GLF programme in 2005 and spent five years at the World Economic Forum building relationships with chief executive officers and other senior members of the IT Industry community. This included networking, identifying key trends, coalescing business, academic and government stakeholders, and creating collaborative projects. Simon led the IT Access for Everyone initiative, ran numerous scenario-building programmes (including Future of IT & Financial Services) and authored a whitepaper on the Future of Green Tech, which was adopted unanimously by 45 leading CEOs and presented to UN leadership. He also led the Forum's Innovation programme.
