Eman Akbar Rafay

An advocate for education and youth empowerment, with an interest in mentorship and capacity building through Education. Supporter of the arts, especially as a tool to strategize ideas and organizations to achieve creative means for social needs. Currently working at the Diwan of Royal Court at the Think tank unit, leading a key national PPP project to strengthen Private sector leadership. Ms Rafay has worked with international charities such as Oxfam and The Centre for Social Justice, a London-based think tank. She has worked closely with the Minister of Social Development leading the national 'Omani Women' awareness campaign and several grass root capacity building programmes. Ms Rafay holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Social Policy and Political Science from the University of York, UK and has completed a public policy program at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore.
