Has spent professional career in the field of rural development, working with farmers, fishers and IP sectors in various capacities, including community organizer, participatory action researcher, trainer, gender advocate, consultant, project and programme manager, advocacy and campaigns coordinator, non-governmental organization executive/manager, and networker. Secretary-General, Asian Farmers' Association; represents the Association in the Steering Committee of the Global Farmers' Forum convened by International Fund for Agricultural Development every two years.
