He has been the driving force for UPL’s foray into the global markets and established it as one among the top 3 leading global producer of crop protection products and seed company, and has foot prints in more than 100 countries in the world. As a leader he inspires from the front and his commitment to innovation, research and excellence with sustainability has given a strong foundation to the UPL Group. His vision is to make UPL Group as one of the leading player in the global seed, crop protection and post-harvest technology supplier in the world market. His leadership has made UPL Group as the fastest growing company in Agri-input space in the world. Jai has been with the company for over two decades and has spearheaded the transformation of UPL from a domestic player a few years ago to a global Indian multinational. Young agriculture graduates are engaged as a chain of advisory & solution to contribute towards improving Indian Agriculture by directly working with farmers at their fields and imparting the right education/ information to farmers with respect to developments in agriculture technologies and practices including soil health, etc.
