With Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning: one year as Accountant-General; in various departments; five years as Director, National Treasury, helped set up Accountant-General's Office and oversaw implementation of several reforms related to public financial management; 2005-09, Permanent Secretary and Secretary to Treasury; 2009-13, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning. Since 2013, Governor of the National Bank of Rwanda. Former Chair of the Board of Directors: School of Finance and Banking; PTA Bank; others. Former Chair, Development Partners Consultative Group. Former Vice-Chairman: Rwanda Revenue Authority; Bralirwa. Former Director, East African Development Bank. Involved in international events related to international development cooperation issues.
