Minister of Textiles; Minister of Environment and Forests; 2004-09, Minister of Commerce and Industry, instrumental in initiating bilateral trade initiatives; active in WTO negotiation and policy initiatives on FDI and intellectual property. May 2009-Jan 2011, as Minister of Road Transport & Highways fast-tracked the development of National Highways; Jan 2011, Minister of Urban Development; since October 2012, also responsible for Parliamentary Affairs.
