Mark Weinberger is the Global Chairman & CEO of EY. Previously, he was the Global Vice Chair – Tax of the organization. Mark served as the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (Tax Policy) in the George W. Bush Administration. He was also appointed by President Clinton to serve on the Social Security Advisory Board, which advises the President and Congress on all aspects of the Social Security system. Mark was cofounder of Washington Counsel, P.C., a DC based law and legislative advisory firm that merged into EY and now operates as Washington Council EY. Mark co-chairs the Russian Foreign Investment Advisory Council and plays an active role in World Economic Forum (WEF) programs, serving as a member of its International Business Council and the Steering Committee of the Global Issue Partnership on International Trade & Investment. Mark also serves as Chair of the Business Roundtable Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy. Mark is on the Board of Trustees for Emory University and Case Western Reserve University. He holds a B.A. from Emory University, an M.B.A. and J.D. from Case Western University, and an LL.M from Georgetown University Law Center.
