Later, initiated Lawson Project Management Dept and Food Service Business Dept, Mitsubishi. 2002, joined Lawson and appointed President and CEO. Vice-Chairman, Japan Association of Corporate Executives (JACE) and Chairperson of its Committee on Agriculture Reforms. Member, Keidanren (Japan Business Federation). Executive Director, Japan Franchise Association (JFA). Chairman, Global Agenda Council on the Role of Business, World Economic Forum.
