Efrat Peled is the Chief Executive Officer of Arison Investments, a post she has held since 2006. She also serves, since 2003, as President of SAFO, Miami, USA, which manages all of Shari Arison's global businesses. Peled manages, develops and supports ventures that yield high financial returns for the company, while at the same time bringing positive added value to Israel and the world. Peled sits on the board of directors of Bank Hapoalim and is also a member of the board of real estate and infrastructures group Shikun & Binui and of Israel Salt Industries. In addition, she is a director on the board of Miya, a global company established by Arison Investments in 2008 to provide comprehensive solutions to the worldwide problem of water loss. A licensed CPA, Peled holds an MBA from Kellogg-Recanati, an international programme taught jointly by Northwestern and Tel Aviv universities. She also holds a BA in Accounting and Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Real Estate Appraisal and Management, both from Tel Aviv University.

Kamal Quadir is the Founder and CEO of CellBazaar which builds electronic platforms for market information accessible via cell phones. Under his leadership CellBazaar won the Best Use of Mobile for Social and Economic Development Award 2008 from GSM Congress and Asia Telecom's Innovation of the Year 2008 Award. Previously, Kamal led the business development division of Occidental Corporation's energy initiatives in South Asia, worked in the New York City Chamber of Commerce and Insight Venture Partners. Kamal is a founding member of Open World Initiatives, a Lausanne, Switzerland based organization of young thinkers. He is involved with Anwarul Quadir Foundation which recognizes innovations in developing countries. He has BA from Oberlin College and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Kamal received the Tech Award 2007 for applying technology in benefiting humanity. Kamal is an accomplished artist whose art works are in permanent collection of Bangladesh National Museum and Liberation War Museum.

Hilary Cottam is the Founding Director of Participle, a social enterprise designing the next generation of public services, with practical, affordable solutions that address big social challenges resulting from changing demographics, new lifestyles and global resource constraints. Recent project work includes a focus on ageing and youth, co-created preventative health services, a radical re-think of the prison system and a new approach to designing schools for the 21st century. Hilary was named UK Designer of the Year in 2005 in recognition for her work in the public sector. She was previously Director of RED at the UK Design Council, a Founding Director of Do Tank and School Works (1998), a non-profit company that provides low-cost (or no-cost) solutions to enhance the environment of secondary schools. Prior to returning to the United Kingdom in 1997, Hilary worked for the World Bank. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences and was educated at Oxford, Sussex and the Open University.

Kohei Nishiyama is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of elephant design, a Japanese product-design company launched in 1997, and Founder of CUUSOO.com. The company takes an innovative approach to the fusion of marketing and e-commerce, whereby customers go online and commission tailor-made designs directly from their website: www.cuusoo.com. The word "cuusoo" means "ideal" or "daydream" in Japanese. The firm then generates design ideas by sponsoring magazine interviews with well-known artists, designers or businesspeople, asking them what sort of product they would like to have. Before co-founding elephant design, Kohei worked as a business analyst with McKinsey & Company in Japan. He studied Industrial Design at Kuwasawa Design School, Tokyo.

Daniel L. Shapiro is Founder and Director of the Harvard International Negotiation Initiative and Associate Director of the world-renowned Harvard Negotiation Project. He is Assistant Professor in the department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital, and is on the faculty at Harvard Law School. Shapiro’s research focuses on the psychology of conflict. He has contributed to numerous scholarly and popular publications, and recently co-authored (with Roger Fisher) the bestseller Beyond Reason: Using Emotions as You Negotiate. Shapiro is now pioneering a new research programme on the emotional and identity-based dimensions of regional conflict and terrorism. Shapiro has trained everyone from business executives to key negotiators in the Middle East, China, the former Yugoslavia and elsewhere. He developed a conflict management and peer counselling programme that now reaches over a million people across 30 countries. Shapiro is the recipient of numerous awards, including the American Psychological Association’s Early Career Award and the prestigious “Peacemaker of the Year” award from the California Mediator’s Association.

Nicky Newton-King is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. In this position, she has been leading the JSE's initiative to develop a socially responsible investment index for the South African market. She is a Member of the JSE's Board of Directors, the Standing Advisory Committee on Company Law, the Independent Commission for the Remuneration of Public Office Bearers and the Financial Markets Advisory Board. She is also Chairperson of the JSE's Art Committee, which focuses on supporting South African artists from previously disadvantaged groups. She was a Partner in the Financial Services Unit of Webber Wentzel Bowens and named Businesswoman of the Year in 2003. She received an LLM (First Class Hons) from University of Cambridge and was a Yale World Fellow in 2006.
