David de Rothschid is an adventurer and environmentalist and the Founder of Adventure Ecology. He was one of 14 people to traverse during the Top of the World Arctic Expedition and was part of a team that broke the world record for fastest crossing of the Greenland Icecap. In 2006, he spent over 100 days crossing the Arctic from Russia to Canada. In 2007 he wrote: Live Earth Global Warming Survival Handbook, the official companion book to Live Earth concert series. de Rothschild was a Judge for the Edge Upstart Award, New Statesman; Observer Ethical Awards; and Carbon Awards. Recipient of awards: Emerging Explorer, National Geographic (2007); Environmentalist of the Year, GQ Magazine (2007).
