Who can participate?
The YGL Dalian Summit is reserved for active YGLs and their spouses.

Where will the Summit take place?
The Young Global Leaders Dalian Summit 2009 will take place at the World Expo Centre in Dalian.

How will I travel to Dalian?
Dalian can be conveniently reached by frequent and short flight connections from all major airports in Asia including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong SAR, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul. In Dalian, continuous shuttle service will be provided throughout the Summit from the airport to all reserved hotels and the Summit venue.

When do I need to register?
The deadline for inclusion in the printed Participants Booklet is 20 July 2009. We therefore recommend you register before this date.

Do I need a visa?
Most foreign nationals need a visa to enter the People’s Republic of China. Please check with the Chinese embassy or consulate nearest you for visa requirements. The World Economic Forum is not responsible for providing visas, but we are working closely with the Chinese authorities to facilitate the visa application procedure. Further details will be provided in the confirmation letter, which you will receive upon registration.

Where do I find additional information on the programme?
Upon registration, you will receive personal access to the Summit’s private area of the website, where the detailed programme is available.
