The investment arm of Bahrain, established in 2006, manages a portfolio of around US$ 10 billion, focused primarily in Bahrain. It is an active shareholder and investor in diverse business and industry sectors in 35 commercial enterprises, nationally and internationally, from aluminium production to property development, tourist sites to food production, and transport to telecommunication.
