Business leaders at an ABC Annual MeetingThe Arab Business Council of the World Economic Forum (ABC) gathered for its Fourth Annual Meeting in Cairo, Egypt from 17 to 18 November. The two-day Annual Meeting was inaugurated by H.E. Prime Minister Ahmed Mahmoud Nazif of Egypt. The meeting brought together over 170 leading business, government and public personalities from 25 countries across the region. Press release 

Particularly, the main objectives of the Annual Meeting were:
• to develop an agenda on how to address the challenges faced by Arab societies in an increasingly complex global economy
• to strengthen the impact of the ABC as an influential force for progress towards improved competitiveness in the Arab world
• to develop a spirit of community and the appreciation of shared values amongst Arab business leaders and industry captains

Arab Business Council
The Arab Business Council (ABC) is a community of the World Economic Forum, composed of the most influential Arab business leaders and committed to improving the state of the Arab world by enhancing competitiveness and driving change in the Middle East.
