President George W. Bush will be among 12 heads of state and government welcomed by President Mubarak at the opening session of the World Economic Forum in Sharm El Sheikh on 18 May (watch the webcast live). The meeting, held in partnership with the Government of Egypt, will have as its theme Learning from the Future. As well as holding talks with President Mubarak, President Bush will also have meetings with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and H.M. King Abdullah Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Summit on the Global Agenda is a new, unique gathering of the world’s most influential thinkers – leaders from academia, business, government and society.
