The World Economic Forum is forming Global Agenda Councils on the foremost topics in the global arena. For each of these topics, the Forum convenes the most innovative and relevant leaders to capture the best knowledge on each key issue and integrate it into global collaboration and decision-making processes.

The Global Agenda Council on Strategic Foresight consists of about 20 most knowledgeable and relevant personalities in the field to develop a mechanism to anticipate upcoming global challenges and opportunities and to contribute to other Global Agenda Councils to promote long-term, strategic thinking.
