Partnerships for Education
Achieving Education For All
Partnerships for Education (PfE) aims to create a global coalition for Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for Education, including the private sector, in order to advance progress towards the objectives of Education for All (EFA). Partnerships for Education is an initiative of UNESCO and the World Economic Forum.
Its goals are to enhance global understanding of the value of Multistakeholder Partnerships for Education (MSPEs), focusing particularly on the roles of governments and the private sector, and to support the delivery of such partnerships to help achieve the Education for All (EFA) goals.
Manual for Monitoring and Evaluating Education Partnerships
"What makes education partnerships effective? This manual aims to help practitioners working in any sort of coordination, management or governance capacity to monitor and evaluate education partnerships from start to finish by providing them with a set of principles and tools.
As research by UNESCO and the World Economic Forum indicates, lack of monitoring and evaluation combined with insufficient reporting on success stories and failures are among the reasons why some education partnerships do not deliver. Although there is much literature about how to build and maintain education partnerships, guidance on monitoring and evaluation is lacking. This manual seeks to fill the gap by giving step by step advice and examples from a range of countries.
