Supply Chain Decarbonization & Sustainability
The industry community works to deepen understanding of the carbon impact of supply chains, to inform effective industry, customer and policy-maker action. The Supply Chain Decarbonization Report provides a basis for quantitative industry understanding and outreach. The group is building consensus on practical consignment-level carbon reporting, providing input to the Copenhagen process and working with customers on driving sustainable consumption.
Enabling Trade
The industry community works to increase understanding of the effects of trade and to highlight and overcome the barriers thrown up by tariffs, bureaucracy, port hinterland infrastructure and other factors in business and policy makers’ control. The Global Enabling Trade Report includes comparative national rankings. High-level regional dialogues allow industry to discuss the findings with regional decision makers and opinion-formers.
Anti-Corruption
Participants work to improve understanding of all forms of unethical payments in the Logistics & Transport industry, with a primary focus on customs facilitation payments, and to take practical steps towards their elimination. A pilot programme is planned for launch in partnership with a national customs administration and the relevant international bodies.
