Industry Partnership for Consumer Industries
The members of the Consumer Industries community face critical challenges and risks including food security, water scarcity, link between health and productivity in the workplace and sustainable business models.
The World Economic Forum’s partnership programme seeks to engage the key players in a multistakeholder platform to address those issues. As a result, the community has activated five solution-oriented initiatives:

The Consumer Industries team at the Forum navigates the global network of leaders in the private and public sectors and drives the discussions, events and projects that allow senior executives to develop insights, build stakeholder networks and act jointly on issues impacting the industry.
Industry and Regional Events
Based on Industry Partner interest, the Consumer Industries Team delivers ad hoc events in conjunction with the Forum’s Regional Events (Latin America, Africa, Middle East, East Asia and India) to address issues of relevance.
The Governors Meeting in Davos
The Governors , the most influential CEOs of our community, assemble each year during the Annual Meeting for private, off-the-record discussions on the critical issues with special guests and thematic experts.
The purpose of the Governors Meeting is to meet and share insights with peers and leaders among the stakeholder network. The Meeting is also the catalyst for ongoing projects: over the past three years, the Governors Meeting has shaped and mandated the community’s five active initiatives mentioned above.
