Kyiv, Ukraine 5-6 November 2013
Ukraine has reached a critical turning point in its economic development. As the country weighs the long-term benefits of its economic orientation and devises new strategies for the future, major shifts are taking place in the global economy that will reshape opportunities and challenges for Ukraine. Contextualizing these trends and developing robust long-term strategies will be a key focus for the Strategic Dialogue hosted by the World Economic Forum Strategic Dialogue on the Future of Ukraine. This short, high-impact meeting is an opportunity for a select group of leaders from business, government, civil society and academia to examine and frame transformations in Ukraine. The discussions – an important milestone in the World Economic Forum’s Scenarios for Ukraine initiative – will be based on the preliminary outcomes of scenarios-mapping. The final results will be presented at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters in January 2014.
