Law degree, King's College, University of London; diploma in German Law, University of Passau, Germany; MBA, HEC, France. Sixteen years' experience in the aerospace industry. 1995, qualified as Solicitor, Supreme Court, London, working with law firm Pannone Pritchard Englefield. Worked at DaimlerChrysler Aerospace (now EADS) in Munich, Germany, on project and strategic management before moving to Brussels. Represented Galileo Industries, the joint venture company serving the European navigation system Galileo, in Brussels, working closely with European institutions on the development of the public-private partnership scheme and management aspects of the Galileo programme. Since 2004, Secretary-General, ESOA, the association of all European satellite operators. Works on key issues impacting the industry and strengthening awareness of the benefits of satellite services with key decision-makers. Has organized workshops on negotiation skills for young managers.
