Has provided practical advice and representation to employers on all aspects of industrial relations and HRM within the realities of their own enterprise, working with some of Australia and New Zealand's largest companies as well as being focussed on the activities of a large range of small- and medium-sized enterprises. Formerly: with the largest employer organization in New Zealand as Manager, Consultancy and Legal Service. 1999, joined International Organisation of Employers (IOE); since 2003, Deputy Secretary-General, responsible for developing the IOEs engagement in CSR and wider human rights issues. Has lectured for a number of New Zealand universities on industrial relations and human resource development.
