By combining innovative policy, user engagement, and direct technical support, Access advocates for open and secure communications for all. Brett has a Bachelor's in Law, University of Sydney; Master's in International Law, University of New South Wales. Founder, International Youth Parliament. Formerly: 5 years with Oxfam Australia; 2 years with Amnesty International; Executive Director, GetUp!, an Australian grass roots online organization with over 600,000 members; Campaign Director, Avaaz.org, an online citizens movement now with over 15 million members. Currently, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Accessnow.org. Expertise centres on the intersection of human rights and new technology.
