James Callaghan MP, and as Editor of the BBC weekly current affairs programme "Analysis". 1995, joined the World Bank; has held various positions, including: Country Director for the Caribbean; Director of Media Relations and Chief Spokesperson; Assistant and Speechwriter to the World Bank President; 2007, Chief-of-Staff; 2010, Vice-President, External Affairs; since 2011, Managing Director; responsible for operational services, policy and systems and its modernization drive and has special oversight on gender issues. Former Secretariat Member, InterAction Council, a group of former heads of government that develops recommendations on political, economic, and social issues.
