Former: Member, Technical Staff, AT&T Bell Laboratories; Physics Faculty, Princeton, Cambridge and Oxford; Engagement Manager, McKinsey & Co.; led strategic engagements for clients in metals & mining, oil & gas, venture capital & private equity. 2003, joined ArcelorMittal as Manager, Continuous Improvement to support integration and operational improvement activities in new acquisitions in Eastern Europe; 2005, General Manager; 2006, Vice-President; has led operational improvement activities in Romania, Czech Rep. and Poland; co-led the building of Mittal Steel's Knowledge Management Programme; and co-led development of the Mittal Steel Value Plan, a key element of successful bid to merge with Arcelor in 2006; since 2007, Vice-President, Strategy, resp. for dev. of medium to long-term industry outlook, coordinating annual strategy process, and leading/supporting projects of key strategic importance to the Group.
