Since 2011, Co-Leader, High-Level Panel, Global Campaign for Education. Since 2012, UN Special Envoy for Global Education. Founder, with his wife, PiggyBankKids, a charity that focuses on providing opportunities to children and young people who would otherwise miss out in life. Author of several books, most recently, Beyond the Crash: Overcoming the First Crisis of Globalisation. Interests: football, tennis and film.
