Since 1990, with METRO: set up quality assurance for food business in Germany; expanded quality assurance to an international department with 500 engineers and specialists in 31 countries, covering the food and non-food business, and assuring fulfilment of legal and company requirements in stores. Chairman of the Board, Global Food Safety Initiative.
