Formerly: 1990-94, Chief Development Officer, Codelco; Managing Director, AMP Chile, a subsidiary of AMP, one of Australia's largest institutional investors; Member of the Board, Enami, the Chilean state-owned custom smelting company. Currently: Director, IAM, a holding company of Santiago's private water utility; Professor, Postgraduate Programme in Mineral Economics, University of Chile. Founder and Member, Center for Copper and Mining Studies, a private think tank focused on mining policy issues.
