1994, MBA, University of Canberra, Australia. Worked in various capacities in the Ministry of Finance. Since 2007, Secretary, Gross National Happiness Commission, an agency in the Royal Government of Bhutan responsible for formulating the five-year development plans that guide the country's development in line with the philosophy and vision of Gross National Happiness. Serves as a board director on the Kidu Foundation, a foundation set up by His Majesty the King to provide support to the vulnerable sections of the Bhutanese society. Chairman, Druk Green Power Corporation, the largest company in Bhutan that owns and manages all the hydropower generation projects in the country. Serves on various other boards and committees. Appointed by the King as a Member of the Steering Committee for Bhutan's effort to present a New Development Paradigm to the UN, to guide the global development agenda in the post-MDG era.
