Kathryn Dovey is based at the OECD in Paris, France within the Secretariat of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes. She focuses predominately on supporting developing countries in the fight against international tax evasion. Prior to this she was Co-founder and Director of the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights, a business-led programme focused on implementing the United Nations standards on business and human rights. Over the past decade Kathryn has provided business and human rights expertise to governments, business and civil society in countries including Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Jordan, Liberia, Myanmar, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates. She has lived and worked in Canada, France, Portugal and Russia and speaks fluent French. Kathryn has an LLM from McGill University, Montreal, Canada and an LLB in English and French Law from King’s College London and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
