Currently, President, Arigatou International, a global NGO that works in close cooperation with UNICEF and UNESCO. Was instrumental in creating the Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC), a worldwide interfaith network dedicated to securing children's rights and well-being, and in developing Learning to Live Together: An Interfaith and Intercultural Programme for Ethics Education. Also helped conceive and launch the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children. Chairman of the Board, Myochikai, a Japanese Buddhist organization with about one million members. International Trustee, World Conference of Religions for Peace (WCRP); Executive Director, Federation of New Religious Organizations of Japan (Shinshuren). Interests: advocating interfaith cooperation for the well-being of children worldwide.
