Chairs the Conseil d'Orientation pour l'Emploi (Council on Employment), a permanent body bringing together social partners, members of Parliament, representatives of the Labour, Economy and Finance ministries as well as of regional and local authorities, economists and labour market experts. It advises the Prime Minister on how to foster job creation and tackle unemployment. Membership: Le Siècle. Distinction: Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur.
