Formerly: water resources mgmt expert, World Bank; economic modeller, Int'l Food Policy Research Institute, Washington DC; worked in Brazil on the creation of a management system for the Paraíba do Sul river basin. 2003, joined the European Investment Bank (EIB); 2007-09, seconded from EIB as OECD Water Programme Coordinator, overseeing production of the flagship reports on water pricing, financing, private sector participation and water use in agriculture; currently, Senior Economist and Deputy Economic Adviser, managing a portfolio of policy advisory activities and over 60 projects in Europe, its Eastern and Southern neighbours and sub-Saharan Africa; Member, EIB Climate Working group, EIB Adaptation Task force and AGWA.
