Currently, Assistant Director-General and since 2007, Regional Director for the Arab States, International Labour Organization, responsible for the roll-out of Decent Work Country Programmes across the region with particular emphasis on enhanced employment policies; support to entrepreneurship culture; social dialogue mechanisms with vibrant workers' and employers' engagement; and promoted enhanced social protection for all. Member of the Advisory Board, Institute for Strategic Dialogue, Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme (UK); Member of the Board of Trustees, Welfare Association.
