Pierre Gentin is a partner in the Litigation practice group at the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. His law practice is focused on litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters. Before joining Cahill in 2015, Mr. Gentin served for nearly two decades in senior legal and risk positions at Credit Suisse AG, one of the world's largest financial services companies. His roles at Credit Suisse included Managing Director and Global Head of Litigation and Regulatory Investigations, General Counsel for the Research Division, and Head of Reputational Risk for the Americas. Mr. Gentin joined Credit Suisse in 1998 from the US Department of Justice where he served as Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He has taught law as Adjunct Professor at Fordham University and has lectured at Princeton, Columbia, Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania and the Council on Foreign Relations. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Practicing Law Institute. Mr. Gentin received a bachelor's degree in English (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Princeton University and a law degree from Columbia University.
