Formerly: over 25 years with United Technologies Corporation including, in-house environmental marketing consultant; Founder and President, Green-Think, an environmentally focused marketing and communications consulting firm; 1993, Founding Chairman, US Green Building Council and since 2004 current positions; 1999, helped establish World Green Building Council and, until 2004, Chairman; worked with Vice-Minister of Construction, China, assisting green building efforts. Member, Sustainable Buildings and Construction Initiative, UN Environment Programme. Adviser, Conference of Mayors, White House and Hill staff, and other state and local municipal bodies. Member of the Board: New York Indoor Environmental Quality Center; Environmental Project. Advisory Council Member, Planet Green, Discovery Channel's environmental network. Recipient of awards: Environmental Stewardship Award, Queens Botanical Garden (2008); National Building Museum Honor Award (2009).
