Research experience includes time spent in academia, industry, and government research and development labs. Currently, Director, new Cyber Security Centre, University of Oxford. Member, Global Uncertainties Strategic Advisory Group, Research Councils UK. Research interests: situational awareness, visual analytics, risk propagation and communication, threat modelling and detection, network defence, dependability and resilience, and formal analysis.
