Extensive experience in sustainability strategy and implementation. Has expertise in leading, designing, developing and implementing sustainability initiatives, ranging from sustainability strategy to supply chain to employee and consumer engagement. Former Vice-President, CSR and Supply Chain, Scientific Certification Systems, working with companies ranging from Wal-Mart to Starbucks. For Starbucks, led the design, development and implementation of their green coffee sustainable procurement programme C.A.F.E. Practices. Then led the sustainability and energy domains at the innovation and design consultancy IDEO. 2011, joined BSR; leads Consumer Products and Innovation. Interests: using innovation and design thinking to bring sustainability into the mainstream of organizations and exploring the intersection of sustainability and business.
