Since completing clerkship on the US Court of Appeals, has served innovation and technology communities: Litigator, Jones Day; later, Associate Solicitor, USPTO, Washington DC; then in IP and innovation policy, Office of the US Trade Representative, Geneva. Since joining GE, has supported the company's businesses both operationally and on IP and innovation policy issues. Chairs the Alliance for Clean Technology Innovation. Vice-Chair, ICC IP Commission.
