One of the top five electric utilities in the world in terms of stock market capitalization, with operations in over 40 countries on four different continents, almost 32,000 employees and around 28 million customers. It has an installed capacity of almost 45,000 megawatts, with 60% of the total group installed power emission-free. Its subsidiary Iberdrola Renovables is a wind energy operator with a presence in more than 20 countries and an installed capacity of more than 12,500 megawatts. The group's geographical presence is focused on Europe, the US, Brazil and Mexico.
