Jet Airways (India), India's premier international airline, was founded in 1992 and began operations in 1993. It currently operates a fleet of 112 aircraft with a mix of state-of-the-art Boeings, Airbuses and ATRs serving 74 destinations nationally and internationally. Jet Airways and JetKonnect operate nearly 466 daily flights, both domestic and international. Jet Airways is India's first airline to strike a foreign direct investment deal with the sale of 24% stake to Gulf carrier Etihad Airways.
