A company which operates 17 smelting and refining facilities through its operating subsidiaries or controlled affiliates. It produces aluminium, lead, steel and zinc, and has two steel rolling mills producing structural and bar products, three lead flat roll facilities and other plastic-related businesses. Its businesses and operating facilities are located throughout the US, Europe and South Africa, and, on a consolidated basis, its operating lead companies are the world's largest producer.
