Showa Shell Sekiyu
A company with over 100 years of history in the oil business in Japan. It is a publicly listed company with the Royal Dutch Shell group owning 35% of the shares and Saudi Aramco owning 15%. It is the third largest oil company in Japan with a refining capacity of 515,000 barrels per calendar day. It recently embarked on a solar business with new CIS technology and with an 80 megawatt production capacity expected to expand to one gigawatt by 2012.
