An international integrated energy company, based in Norway. It has operations in 36 countries with around 20,000 employees. It produces over 1.8 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, is one of the world's largest gas suppliers, one of the world's largest operators of deepwater fields and is a world leader in the use of deepwater technology, carbon capture and storage. The company is listed on the Oslo Børs and the New York Stock Exchange.
