Trina Solar Ltd

A company active in the photovoltaic industry producing its own ingots, wafers, cells and modules in-house. It was founded in 1997, was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2006 and created the first solar model room in China. It was ranked China's first and the world's second foremost solar company in terms of sales growth, brand, market share, profitability, market cap and financing status in a 2009 report by PRTM. Its product quality has been ranked among the top two out of the major global solar module manufacturers by product testing agencies such as TUV Reinland.
