Media Accreditation Opens for the World Economic Forum on Africa 2011
Geneva, Switzerland, 21 February 2011 – The World Economic Forum on Africa takes place in Cape Town, South Africa, on 4-6 May 2011. The theme of the meeting is “From Vision to Action, Africa’s New Chapter” and will convene more than 700 top regional and global leaders.
"The world has woken up to Africa's untapped economic potential with substantive investment to the continent from China, India and elsewhere. The World Economic Forum on Africa in May will be an opportunity for key stakeholders to highlight how political will and innovative partnerships can translate Africa's economic boom into an inclusive and equitable growth story", said Katherine Tweedie, Director, Head of Africa, World Economic Forum.
