Disaster Resource Partnership (DRP)

The Disaster Resource Partnership (DRP) is a new model for coordinated private-sector collaboration in response to natural disasters. The main objective of the project is to form an ongoing partnership between private industry, the public sector and humanitarian organizations to make best use of the core strengths and existing capacities of the E&C community when natural disasters occur. DRP national networks currently exist in India, Indonesia and Mexico


Specific aims of the project include:

  • Developing an ongoing collaboration between private industry, public sector and humanitarian organizations
  • Ensuring the fast and effective deployment of engineering and construction expertise and capacities before, during and after natural disasters
  • Increasing the number of Disaster Resource Partnership national networks
