The Leadership, Trust and Performance Equation

For businesses, trust is a fundamental component in ensuring competitiveness. This project was set up to help the business community build trust with its various stakeholders. Launched in 2013, its first task was to demonstrate why companies should invest in trust-building. Phase II is to explore, via a series of strategic dialogues, how trust issues manifest across industries


Partnering with Edelman, the project will be deployed via a series of workshops at the Forum’s annual and regional events. The objectives of Phase II (2014-15) are to:

  • Identify the top industry-critical dimensions of trust
  • Contrast perceptions of trust from within an industry with those from the outside
  • Share examples of concrete actions that can help companies to build trust
