Emerging Best Practices of Chinese Globalizers: The Corporate Global Citizenship Challenge
Emerging Best Practices of Chinese Globalizers: The Corporate Global Citizenship Challenge, a report prepared in collaboration with The Boston Consulting Group, identifies emerging best practices of Chinese enterprises that are developing increasingly sophisticated forms of citizenship in the local markets in which they operate.
The process of internationalization is a challenging journey for Chinese companies, or any company for that matter. We hope the report will assist Chinese companies on this journey by helping them to cultivate the concept of Corporate Global Citizenship within the culture and mindset of their businesses. This approach encourages wider disclosure and reporting, greater transparency, promotes further learning and experience sharing, with the goal of making the best practices of some companies today become the standard practices of many Chinese corporations in the near future.
In this report, we choose to concentrate on the emerging best practices with the aim of promoting them into common practices among Chinese companies. Nonetheless, we do recognize the obstacles and challenges and have identified in this report several opportunities for further development. In this regard, we look forward to working with a great number of companies in the future.
